Microservices have become the defacto architectural approach in the last couple of years and for a good reason. I'm not going to tell you why microservices should be used. I assume you know that. What I'd like to share is best practices for designing and deploying microservices with some specific recommendations for AWS.
So let's get to it!
Lots of articles have been written about the topic of microservices and ways of transforming legacy large enterprise platforms into scalable, performant, manageable, granular applications and services. Microservices is not a new concept, it's just a new term applied to proven software architecture and design patterns.
Chances are (dramatic pause) you are NOT yet 100% in the cloud running fully native cloud applications, with no old legacy applications holding you back. Am I right?
